New Delhi. The 15th National Webinar of the elixir of freedom was organized in collaboration with Viswa Bharati Yoga Sansthan, Delhi under the joint aegis of RJS-TJAPS KBS on the theme of World Mental Health Day 10th October 2021on “Mental Health in an Unequal World”.
Uday Manna, National Convener of Ram Janki Sansthan and Secretary of Tapsil Jati Adivasi Praktan Sainik Krishi Vikas Shilpa Kendra Somen Kole said that in the 15th issue of the series of 75 programs of the elixir of freedom, health experts Dr. Nimesh Desai and Dr. Jugal People from all over the country joined including Kishore, Yoga Guru Acharya Prem Bhatia, Ravi Kalra and Prof. Bijan Mishra associated with social organizations. Welcoming the guests, Prof. Bijan Mishra, Founder President, Healthy You Foundation said that there should be no discrimination against mental patients. 34% of suicides occur only in India and the main reason for this is mental illness.

Karmayogi Ravi Kalra, Founder President, The Earth Saviors Foundation said that mental patients are not only found on the streets but sometimes they create problems in families too. That is why a mentally unbalanced person needs counseling very much. He also cautioned against spreading poison in the body due to polluted food. Because this pollution is also making us mentally ill. Discussing about The Earth Saviors Foundation, he said that today around 800 mental patients are being provided free facilities in the organization formed in 2008 and now there is a human population in Gurugram. Dedicated to welfare service, doors are about to open for more than two thousand homeless mental patients. There is a 24-hour stay - food, counseling and medicine etc. is free of cost. Not only this, we also try our best for rehabilitation.
The Chief Guest, Director and Psychiatrist of Delhi-based Ihbas Prof. (Dr.) Nimesh Desai told that
Discussing mental health in the time of Corona and even today is a good step in a positive direction, it should not stop. 10 October is a day to discuss mental health as well as empower the homeless. He praised Ravi Kalra's social service for the homeless mental patient. He said that arrangements have been made by Ihbas to treat homeless mental patients on working days in Delhi. Mobile Mental Network Scheme is going to start from this year.
The keynote speaker Prof. (Dr.) Jugal Kishore, Director and Head of Community Medicine, Safdarjung Hospital said that prevention is better than cure. He also said that due to mental illness, not only the quality of life of a person is affected, but the whole family is affected. it happens. Most of the problems occur in children between the ages of 10 and 19.
The cost of treatment of this disease around the world can be saved if positive thinking is created in the society. He said that less people die due to snake bite, more deaths are due to fear. This needs to be understood in the Corona era and community medicine is the only solution.
Yogi Kavi Acharya Prem Bhatia, founder director of Vishwa Bharati Yoga Sansthan, co-organizer of the webinar, said in the presidential address that
It is not necessary to live your life only, you can run it well by understanding. Saying this, he has told everything in this lion - "The body should also be given some time, the mind should be given all the time".
To keep his heart with him, he said something like this - "When this heart is sad, when someone has it". He said that only if the physical, mental and social health around us is good, the number of mental patients can be reduced. To keep the body and mind fit, yoga-pranayama-meditation-sadhana and sports-exercise are necessary.
He explained the need for proper cleaning of excreta and urine for mental health.
At the end of the webinar, RJS National Convenor Uday Kumar Manna announced to organize the seventeenth national webinar of the elixir of independence in association with RJS Positive India Information Center Jamshedpur Jharkhand on Tuesday, 12 October, on the occasion of Navratri, Durga Puja and Vijayadashami.
