New Delhi. On Sunday, November 21, the 27th RJS national webinar of the elixir of freedom was organized on the occasion of World Toilet Day, in which about 100 people from across the country were benefitted.
Pushkar Bala, Ishaq Khan, Renu Srivastava, Vaibhav Bhardwaj and Sajan Jha paid tributes to the great men of India on behalf of the RJS family. These great men and freedom fighters are ---- Guru Nanak Dev Ji,
Indira Gandhi, Lala Lajpat Rai,
Rani Laxmibai, Batukeshwar Dutt, Chhotu Ram, Jagdish Chandra Bose, Pattabhi Sitaramayya, Milkha Singh,
Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman ,
Jhalkari Bai and Uda Devi etc.
The chief of Webinar guest Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak, a sociologist and social reformer was welcomed by internationally renowned consumer activist and advisor to RJS, Prof. Bijon Misra.
In his address, he called upon the RJS family to take inspiration from the life of Dr Pathak.
The vote of thanks was done by RJS Observer Deep Chandra Mathur, Former Director MCD, and the webinar was successfully conducted by Dr. Pushkar Bala Principal and in-charge of RJS Information Center Jamshedpur(Jharkhand).
The webinar was organized under the leadership of Uday Manna, National Convener of Ram Janki Sansthan (RJS), New Delhi and Somen Kole, Secretary, Tapsil Jati Adibasi Pratakanna Sainik Krishi Bikash Shilpa Kendra (TJAPS KBSK) West Bengal.
Chief Guest Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak, founder of Sulabh Sanitation and Social Reform Movement appreciated the Organiser.
He narrated the story of his life's struggles and success in the cleanliness movement without deviate from the true path.
The audience applauded him several times in the webinar and lavishly recited his self-written poem on cleanliness.
Dr. Pathak said that as we take care of our children, love, caress and protect us, in the same way we will keep away from many diseases by giving importance to cleanliness and toilets.
He said that very few people know that urine is 19 types. Many of our diseases can be cured by cleaning the toilet. People know Sulabh by the name of public toilet, but Sulabh has promoted the construction of best toilets in urban homes in the country and abroad. Cheap and accessible toilets are promoting toilet construction in villages including metro. The United Nations also recognized his successful attempt to celebrate Indira Gandhi's birthday on 19 November as World Toilet Day.
Due to the efforts of Dr. Pathak, today the toilet subject or social work was also recognized by the universities for the first time and it was included in the degree courses. He said that today there is a need to provide adequate funds and resources to those who do good work, so that positive work and efforts flourish in the society. Describing the story of his struggles in the initial days, he said that he had unsuccessfully tried to explain the mission of health to his family. He praised the positive work and efforts of Ram-Janki Sansthan(RJS). He also mentioned the values he had received from his mother, who used to say, "Live for yourself, live a life that benefits others". took. With the inspiration of Gandhiji, he created the Sulabh International Organization and started a successful movement of cleanliness.
He made efforts in many states to stop the practice of manual scavenging and liberated many women from manual scavenging and did educational development and rehabilitation of their children. He expressed his gratitude to the Government of India for giving an identity "the Padma Shri award" to the one whom he rehabilitated.
At the end of the webinar, RJS National Convener Uday Kumar Manna expressed his gratitude to Dr. Pathak and announced to organize the 29th RJS National Webinar of the elixir of independence in association with Muni International School, Delhi next Sunday, 28 November.
