A delegation of RJS PBH Delegation led by the National convenor, Shri Uday Manna, visited Prof. (Dr.) Dwivedi, DG IIMC, New Delhi on 21st June 2023 , and had a fruitful discussion with him about the state and direction of contemporary Indian journalism
in Amritkaal, the remaining 25 years to the centenary celebrations of India's Independence in the year 2047. Uday Manna, Rajendra Singh Kushwaha, Soumen Koley,Ashok Kumar Malik, Prakhar Varshney and Prashant Yadav were the Members of RJS PBH Delegation.
It was deliberated as to how the characteristic Indian spirit can be infused in the present media so that it may turn away from largely prevalent negative content towards positive social content. The Professor has authored a vital book entitled *Amritkaal Me Bharat*. It was he who had inaugurated RJS Public Broadcasting House online (The RJS PBH is being formally launched on 6.08.2023 at Rajendra Bhavan, New Delhi), and had graced Azadi Ki Amrit Gatha programme of RJS Positive Media in 2022. His views on, and direction for the future of, RJS PBH were sought during the visit to his Office. Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Dwivedi emphasised the need for Indianising the administrative, judicial, policing and other systems that were functional at the time of Indian independence on 15.08.1947, and are still being largely followed. As pointed out by him, journalism too having begun in the West, and followed by numerous journalists here, had different objectives with different habits of thought, which suited being argumentative and sensational in coverage and analysis of events, containing content which was unbecoming in Indian context and harmful to diverse Indian society; whereas our ancient system follows a positive approach of solving problems and arriving at truth through dialogue, while avoiding what could have harmful effect on society. The need is for journalists to communicate their ideas in ways that could spread positive energy amongst the different strata of people.
Prof. Dwivedi referred to Narad as the first in the field of communications, and one who followed the policy of timely dialogue with the objective of bettering society. He emphasised that the values that come to us from Western journalism are indeed alien to our tradition, as that kind of journalism is prone to exaggerate and aggravate problems that beset society; on the contrary, our tradition is a tradition of purity, selflessness and dialogue to solve vexed problems. Prof. Dwivedi referred to the Kumbh Mela where it has been the custom of rishis and sages to discuss at length the possible solutions to burning issues; their thinking used to reach the villages to guide the pubic on future course of life. The villagers, albeit they were illiterate, yet knew the essence of agriculture, economics, sociology, and spiritual truths. Indeed, there is felt to be a need to spiritualise journalism and communication. Furthermore, it was felt that the books that teach youngsters should ensure that fraternity of all groups of people, whether living in our villages or cities, in hills or plains, belonging to different strata of society, should be strengthened, as there is strong unity in diversity in Indian society, and this sense of unity in the face of enormous diversity needs to be nourished by journalism and through books that have positive thinking.Prof. Dwivedi gave the delegation an insight into the way young journalists are being trained at IIMC, and it was fascinating to be told that there is a Friday dialogue where scholars in different fields are invited to talk on various issues concerning society to budding journalists and to interact with them. It was very pleasant to know that tributes are also paid to the memory of freedom fighters aptly. RJS PBH has been presenting a series of programmes called Azadi Ki Amrit Gatha to keep alive the revered and inspiring memories of known and not-so-well-known freedom fighters and martyrs, the 150 episodes whereof will be reflected in a retrospect of the journey of RJS, RJS Positive Media; and now RJS PBH, in a book, entitled Amrit Kaal Ka Sakaratmak Bharat ( Document of Sakaraatmak Bharat Uday Aandolan , to be launched on 06.08.2023 in New Delhi. Prof. Dwivedi presented to each member of the delegation a copy of the book *Amritkal Mein Bharat* , authored by him, and throwing light on the work done by the present Govt. during the last nine years. The delegation was happy to look at the photographs, of our leaders, on the walls of the Office of DG IIMC. It was expressed by the delegation and DG IIMC that the revered names of our leaders should never be maligned as all great leaders have messages for the betterment of Indian society and have been associated with journalism to communicate with the Indian masses for their upliftment in diverse ways. It was recalled that it was not only a struggle for just freedom from foreign rule, but indeed for freedom of the country from all kinds of evils like illiteracy, superstitions, poverty, unhygienic conditions, diseases, poverty, and so on: it is an imperative the media should adopt a positive approach in our own Indian tradition to solve the problems of, and meet effectively the many challenges confronting, contemporary India which aspires to be Vishvaguru for bringing about peace and well- being to the world in the tradition of her thinking of the world as one family, and of praying for holistic well-being of the peoples of the world. The RJS PBH thanked DG IIMC for his crystal clear positive thinking, and shared its own vision with which it has been striving for the last eight years to infuse positive energy in society, so that the people eventually overcome the various problems that continue to be a challenge to their creative thinking. नई दिल्ली। राष्ट्रीय संयोजक श्री उदय मन्ना के नेतृत्व में आरजेएस पीबीएच परिवार के एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने आईआईएमसी, नई दिल्ली के महानिदेशक प्रोफेसर (डॉ.) संजय द्विवेदी से 21जून 2023 को मुलाकात की और उनके साथ समकालीन भारतीय पत्रकारिता की दशा और दिशा के बारे में सार्थक चर्चा की। प्रतिनिधिमंडल में राजेन्द्र सिंह कुशवाहा, सोमेन कोले, अशोक के मलिक, प्रखर वार्ष्णेय और प्रशांत यादव शामिल थे।
अमृतकाल में वर्ष 2047 तक भारत की स्वतंत्रता के शताब्दी समारोह के शेष 25 वर्षों पर विचार किया गया कि वर्तमान मीडिया में किस प्रकार विशिष्ट भारतीय भावना का संचार किया जा सकता है ताकि वह बड़े पैमाने पर प्रचलित नकारात्मकता से हटकर सकारात्मक सामाजिकता की ओर अग्रसर हो सकें।
प्रोफेसर द्विवेदी ने *अमृतकाल में भारत* एक महत्वपूर्ण पुस्तक लिखी है। उन्होंने ही सकारात्मक पत्रकारिता के लिए समर्पित आरजेएस पब्लिक ब्रॉडकास्टिंग हाउस का ऑनलाइन उद्घाटन किया था (आरजेएस पीबीएच को औपचारिक रूप से 6.08.2023 को राजेंद्र भवन सभागार, नई दिल्ली में विधिवत् लॉन्च किया जा रहा है), और 2022 में आरजेएस पॉजिटिव मीडिया के आजादी की अमृत गाथा कार्यक्रम में शामिल हुए थे।
आरजेएस पीबीएच के प्रतिनिधि मंडल ने भविष्य के लिए सकारात्मक पत्रकारिता में भारतीयता को लेकर दिशा-निर्देश लिए । प्रो. (डॉ.) संजय द्विवेदी ने प्रशासनिक, न्यायिक, पुलिस व्यवस्था और अन्य प्रणालियों के भारतीयकरण की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया जो 15.08.1947 तक भारतीय स्वतंत्रता के समय पत्रकारिता में सक्रिय थीं ।
उन्होंने बताया, पत्रकारिता भी पश्चिम में शुरू हुई, और उसके बाद यहां कई पत्रकारों ने विचार की विभिन्न आदतों के साथ अलग-अलग उद्देश्य रखे, जो घटनाओं के कवरेज और विश्लेषण में तर्कपूर्ण और सनसनीखेज होने के अनुकूल थे, जिसमें ऐसी सामग्री शामिल थी जो भारतीयता की दृष्टि में अशोभनीय थी और विविधतापूर्ण भारतीय समाज के लिए हानिकारक; जबकि हमारी प्राचीन प्रणाली समस्याओं को सुलझाने और बातचीत के माध्यम से सच्चाई तक पहुंचने के सकारात्मक दृष्टिकोण का पालन करती है, एवं समाज पर हानिकारक प्रभाव डालने वाली चीजों से बचती है। पत्रकारों को अपने विचारों को इस तरह से संप्रेषित करने की आवश्यकता है जिससे विभिन्न वर्गों के लोगों के बीच सकारात्मक ऊर्जा फैल सके। प्रो.द्विवेदी ने नारद को संचार के क्षेत्र में अग्रणी और समाज को बेहतर बनाने के उद्देश्य से समय पर संवाद की नीति का पालन करने वाला बताया। उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि पश्चिमी पत्रकारिता से जो मूल्य हमें मिलते हैं, वे वास्तव में हमारी परंपरा से अलग हैं, क्योंकि उस तरह की पत्रकारिता समाज को घेरने वाली समस्याओं को बढ़ा-चढ़ाकर पेश करने और बढ़ाने वाली होती है; इसके विपरीत, हमारी परंपरा पवित्रता, नि:स्वार्थता और जटिल समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए संवाद की परंपरा है। प्रो.द्विवेदी ने कुंभ मेले का जिक्र किया जहां ऋषियों और संतों की परंपरा रही है कि वे ज्वलंत मुद्दों के संभावित समाधानों पर विस्तार से चर्चा करते हैं; उनकी सोच गाँवों तक पहुँचती थी और लोगों को भविष्य के जीवन के बारे में मार्गदर्शन देती थी। ग्रामीण, यद्यपि वे अनपढ़ थे, फिर भी कृषि, अर्थशास्त्र, समाजशास्त्र और आध्यात्मिक सत्य का सार जानते थे। दरअसल, पत्रकारिता और संचार को आध्यात्मिक बनाने की जरूरत महसूस की जा रही है। इसके अलावा, यह महसूस किया गया कि युवाओं को पढ़ाने वाली पुस्तकों में यह सुनिश्चित किया जाना चाहिए कि लोगों के सभी समूहों में भाईचारा रहे, चाहे वे हमारे गांवों या शहरों में रहते हों, पहाड़ों या मैदानों में हों, समाज के विभिन्न स्तरों से संबंधित हों, मजबूत होनी चाहिए; क्योंकि उनमें मजबूत एकता रही है। भारतीय समाज में विशाल विविधता के सामने एकता की इस भावना को पत्रकारिता और सकारात्मक सोच वाली पुस्तकों के माध्यम से पोषित करने की आवश्यकता है।प्रो. द्विवेदी ने प्रतिनिधिमंडल को आईआईएमसी में युवा पत्रकारों को प्रशिक्षित करने के तरीके के बारे में जानकारी दी और यह बताना दिलचस्प था कि शुक्रवार को एक संवाद होता है जहां विभिन्न क्षेत्रों के विद्वानों को उभरते पत्रकारों के साथ समाज से संबंधित विभिन्न मुद्दों पर बातचीत करने के लिए आमंत्रित किया जाता है। यह जानकर बहुत ख़ुशी हुई कि स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों की स्मृति में उचित रूप से श्रद्धांजलि भी दी जाती है। आरजेएस पीबीएच एक श्रृंखला प्रस्तुत करता आ रहा है, आजादी की अमृत गाथा नामक कार्यक्रम, जिसमें ज्ञात और अज्ञात स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों और शहीदों की श्रद्धेय और प्रेरक यादों को जीवित रखने के लिए उनकी स्मृति काे नमन किया जाता है, जिसके 150 एपिसोड हैं। आरजेएस, आरजेएस पॉजिटिव मीडिया और आरजेएस पीबीएच की यात्रा की गतिविधियाँ आगामी अमृत काल का साकारात्मक भारत नामक पुस्तक में प्रतिबिंबित होंगी; जिसका विमोचन 06.08.2023 को नई दिल्ली में हाेगा। प्रो.द्विवेदी ने प्रतिनिधिमंडल के प्रत्येक सदस्य को अपने द्वारा लिखित पुस्तक *अमृतकाल में भारत* की प्रति भेंट की, जो वर्तमान सरकार द्वारा पिछले नौ वर्षों के दौरान किए गए कार्यों पर प्रकाश डालती है।महानिदेशक, आईआईएमसी के कार्यालय की दीवारों पर हमारे नेताओं की तस्वीरें देखकर प्रतिनिधिमंडल खुश हुआ। प्रतिनिधिमंडल और महानिदेशक, आईआईएमसी द्वारा व्यक्त किया गया कि हमारे नेताओं के सम्मानित नामों को कभी भी बदनाम नहीं किया जाना चाहिए; क्योंकि सभी महान नेताओं के पास भारतीय समाज की भलाई के लिए संदेश हैं, और वे विभिन्न तरीकों से भारतीय जनता के उत्थान के लिए उनके साथ संवाद करने के लिए पत्रकारिता से जुड़े हुए रहे हैं। यह भी याद दिलाया गया कि यह न केवल विदेशी शासन से मुक्ति के लिए संघर्ष था, बल्कि वास्तव में देश को सभी प्रकार की बुराइयों, यथा अशिक्षा, अंधविश्वास, गरीबी, अस्वास्थ्यकर स्थितियों, बीमारियों, गरीबी आदि से मुक्ति के लिए प्रयास था। यह जरूरी है कि मीडिया को समकालीन भारत की समस्याओं को हल करने और उसके सामने आने वाली कई चुनौतियों का प्रभावी ढंग से सामना करने के लिए हमारी अपनी भारतीय परंपरा में एक सकारात्मक दृष्टिकोण अपनाना चाहिए। निश्चय ही विश्व को एक परिवार के रूप में सोचने और विश्व के लोगों के समग्र कल्याण के लिए प्रार्थना करने की अपनी परंपरा की महान धराेहर के परिप्रेक्ष्य में, भारत दुनिया में शांति और कल्याण लाने के लिए विश्वगुरु बनने की सद्इच्छा रखता है। आरजेएस पीबीएच ने डीजी, आईआईएमसी को उनकी स्पष्ट सकारात्मक सोच के लिए धन्यवाद दिया, और अपना स्वयं का दृष्टिकोण साझा किया, जिसकाे निरन्तर अक्षुण्ण रख, वह पिछले आठ वर्षों से समाज में सकारात्मक ऊर्जा का संचार करने का प्रयास कर रहा है, ताकि लोग अंततः उन विभिन्न समस्याओं पर काबू पा सकें, जो उनकी रचनात्मक सोच के लिये अभी तक चुनौती बनी हुई हैं। हमारा देश हर क्षेत्र में नई ऊंचाइयों की ओर बढ़ता रहे
