 NDMC’s newly commissioned fault locating vans provide quick uninterrupted power supply,

 NDMC’s new cable fault locaters reduce the digging on capital’s busiest roads.

  New Delhi, November 06, 2023.

New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) Chairman, Shri Amit Yadav flagged off two HT Cable fault locating vans which is capable of detecting the fault locations in power cables upto 66,000 volts. On the occasion, Secretary, NDMC and Senior Officers of NDMC were present.

 The fault locating vans provide the better services of uninterrupted supply to consumers and citizens than earlier because of having latest generation system with 400 MHz and latest software with algorithm measures distance of such faults with great accuracy. It will reduce the time to find out the fault and action taken on it for further repair. 

 

The benefits of the vans that these fault locating machines have been mounted on the CNG vehicles so that it will reduce the air pollution in green New Delhi area. An expenditure amounting Rs. 6.5 crore have been incurred for their procurement under the Smart City Mission. 

The cable fault locating machines may be used throughout the year for cable diagnostic as a preventive measure and cable router tracer. This facility will certainly reduce the digging of roads in the busiest area of Capital where traffic flow is being very heavy. 

The fault locater vans will indicate all the errors on screen in writing and the system has facilities like multi shot ARM to make fault locations easier even for longer cable. The pinpoint unit is provided with additional filters to suppress noise and default locations even during day time with heavy traffic. The route tracer is GPS enabled map route of cable fault for future features of cable health diagnostic with software and additional hardware.

 एनडीएमसी की नई केबल खराबी का पता लगाने वाली वैन तुरंत निर्बाध बिजली आपूर्ति प्रदान करने में सहायक होगी, 

 एनडीएमसी की नई केबल फॉल्ट लोकेटर वैन्स राजधानी की सबसे व्यस्त सड़कों पर खुदाई में कमी लाएगी।

नई दिल्ली नगरपालिका परिषद (एनडीएमसी) के अध्यक्ष, श्री अमित यादव ने आज दो एचटी केबल फॉल्ट लोकेटिंग वैन को हरी झंडी दिखा कर काम पर रवाना किया , जो 66,000 वोल्ट तक बिजली केबलों में फॉल्ट स्थानों का पता लगाने में सक्षम हैं। इस अवसर पर, एनडीएमसी सचिव और एनडीएमसी के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी भी उपस्थित थे। 

केबल खराबी ढूंढने वाली ये नई वैन उपभोक्ताओं और नागरिकों को पहले की तुलना में अधिक जल्द निर्बाध आपूर्ति की बेहतर सेवाएं प्रदान करेगी, क्योंकि 400 मेगाहर्ट्ज के साथ नवीनतम पीढ़ी की प्रणाली और एल्गोरिदम के साथ नवीनतम सॉफ्टवेयर ऐसे दोषों की दूरी को बहुत सटीक मापते हैं। बेहतर सटीकता से खराबी का पता लगाने और उस पर आगे की मरम्मत के लिए की जाने वाली कार्रवाई में लगने वाला समय अब कम हो जाएगा। 

वैन के फायदों के बारे में तथ्य यह है कि इन केबल दोषों का पता लगाने वाली मशीनों को सीएनजी वाहनों पर लगाया गया है ताकि यह हरित नई दिल्ली क्षेत्र में वायु प्रदूषण को कम कर सके।  स्मार्ट सिटी मिशन के तहत इनकी खरीद पर 6.5 करोड़ रुपये की लागत आई है। निवारक उपाय और केबल राउटर ट्रेसर के रूप में केबल डायग्नोस्टिक के लिए केबल दोष का पता लगाने वाली मशीनों का उपयोग अब पूरे वर्ष किया जा सकता है। यह सुविधा निश्चित रूप से राजधानी के सबसे व्यस्त इलाके में सड़कों की खुदाई को कम करेगी जहां यातायात का प्रवाह बहुत अधिक है। 

ये फॉल्ट लोकेटर वैन स्क्रीन पर सभी त्रुटियों को लिखित रूप में इंगित करेगी और सिस्टम में लंबी केबल के लिए भी फॉल्ट स्थानों को खोजना आसान बनाने के लिए मल्टी शॉट एआरएम जैसी सुविधाएं इसमें हैं। भारी ट्रैफ़िक के साथ दिन के समय भी शोर और डिफ़ॉल्ट स्थानों को दबाने के लिए पिनपॉइंट यूनिट को अतिरिक्त फ़िल्टर प्रदान किए जाते हैं। रूट ट्रेसर सॉफ्टवेयर और अतिरिक्त हार्डवेयर के साथ केबल फाल्ट निदान की भविष्य की सुविधाओं के लिए केबल दोष का जीपीएस सक्षम मानचित्र मार्ग भी इसमें उपलब्ध होगा।
