RJS PBH'sb493rd program was co-organised by Vishwa Bharati Yog Sansthan on Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.
New Delhi: The Ram Janaki Sansthan Positive Broadcasting House (RJS PBH) and RJS Positive Media celebrated a major institutional milestone during its 493rd national webinar on November 30, 2025, which centered on the crucial theme of 'Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat' (One India, Great India). The event, which contributes significantly to the government’s ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ public participation initiative, generated immediate headlines when Chief Guest Media Guru Professor Dr. K. G. Suresh, former VC MCU and Director IHC, publicly nominated RJS PBH founder Uday Kumar Manna for the Padma Shri award. This high-profile endorsement underscored the panel's conclusion that achieving national integration requires pioneering positive media documentation and immediate, committed civic action from all citizens.
co-organizer of the program, Founder Director Vishwa Bharati Yog Sansthan Acharya Prem Bhatia, Yogi Kavi , provided the spiritual and ethical mandate for national service. He linked unification to the deepest human emotion—reverence for ‘Mother India’—and asserted that national unity requires shared goals and identical feelings of pain and happiness ("My progress is in everyone’s progress"). Acharya Bhatia also shared a moving poetic tribute to his recently deceased colleague, Ramesh Chandra Sharma, whose post-retirement dedication to Yoga education at Vishwa Bharti Yoga Sansthan served as a perfect example of selfless *seva*. He defined internal sadness (Udaasi) as the ethical failure to uphold these civic duties.
Professor Dr. K. G. Suresh, Director of the India Habitat Center and former Director General of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, set the tone by stating that while Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel—whom he hailed as the primary architect of modern India—successfully integrated 565 princely states using all necessary means (Saam, Daam, Dand, Bhed), true integration remains threatened by modern social failures.
Dr. Suresh identified the primary modern obstacles to unity as a pervasive lack of communication (Samvad Heenta) and damaging cultural stereotypes. He criticized how cultural generalizations are perpetuated, citing the painful example of an Arunachal Pradesh girl being stopped at an airport and incorrectly labeled "Chinese." He emphasized that this kind of prejudice can only be solved through direct social engagement. To that end, he proposed two clear, actionable civic pledges for every citizen:
1. The Language Pledge: Commit to learning two or three sentences in any Indian language different from one’s mother tongue.
2. The Shared Meal Pledge: Pledge to invite at least one culturally, linguistically, or religiously different individual or family into their home during their own festivals to share food, customs, and conversation.
"Mistrust is dissolved when we share food and conversation," Dr. Suresh stated, arguing that this bottom-up civic activism must drive social transformation, contrasting it sharply with the often negative and conflict-focused reporting of mainstream media.
The push for national recognition validated Manna’s decades-long commitment to constructive journalism. Dr. Suresh noted that the current government is seeking "unsung heroes" and that Manna's unique, global positive media movement is uniquely deserving. Deep Mathur, RJS PBH National Observer, immediately reinforced the nomination, pledging to file the first application and defining the organization's philosophy: "We do not have to cut the line of anyone else; we have to draw our own line bigger," focusing entirely on expanding positivity.
Uday Kumar Manna contextualized this movement by highlighting its documentary importance, ensuring all positive efforts are recorded in the monthly Positive Media Newsletter and the forthcoming Volume 6 book, intended to preserve a positive historical record until 2047. He paid tribute to national figures who provided the ideological foundation for the movement, including Sardar Patel, Rajiv Dixit (for championing Swadeshi), and Mahatma Jotiba Phule (for pioneering formal education for girls).
The tangible results of RJS PBH’s constructive reporting were evident in the review of its 14-day media support for the 44th India International Trade Fair (IIITF). Dr. Kavita Parihar, a poetess from Nagpur, offered a detailed testimonial, praising the fair’s high hygiene standards and organizational quality, and noting that RJS PBH's coverage—which produced nearly 40 videos—significantly boosted the morale and business of participating artisans. Parihar specifically highlighted innovations like the new vegetarian soya product, *Vejle*, as a product that holds potential for positive social change.
Poetic contributions further cemented the theme of national commitment. Rati Chaubey delivered a powerful poem honoring Sardar Patel as the "Iron Man," the architect of *Akhand Bharat* who was also an "inspirer of Gandhi." Bhim Singh Vats contributed short verses advocating the philosophy: **"Bharat Pehle, Shesh Baad Mein"** (India First, Rest Later), celebrating the nation’s multi-colored traditions and unity in diversity.
Looking forward, Manna announced two major initiatives: the official launch of TRD 26 (Team Republic Day 2026) planning, intended to coordinate a major program with the Indian Diaspora, which will be implemented via a month-long simultaneous Instagram and Facebook Live initiative. The second was the **Bodhi Diwas Campaign** (inaugural Dec 7 webinar), focused on spreading the message of peace: "Buddha [peace] chahiye shanti, yudh nahi," to educate the new generation. Prof. Dr. Ramya Muthyala, joining from the USA, confirmed the global relevance of these efforts, stating the Indian diaspora's unwavering commitment: "This is my Bharat. This is my country."
The webinar concluded with a strong reaffirmation of the movement's goals, as Deep Mathur urged continuous support for Manna's nomination and the propagation of positive media, ensuring that the legacy of unity and civic action championed by its founders and guests continues to grow.
Akanksha Manna
