Gandhi Peace Foundation, New Age Islam Foundation also participated in the function. This was organized a day-long program entitled, “Rashtra Pratham Vande Matram” at Gandhi Peace Foundation, New Delhi on January 22, 2017. The objective of this program was to spread the message of patriotism, honesty, integrity and respect for Indian history and culture among the school children living in the villages of South West Delhi, precisely in and around Najafgarh locality. 

The children were encouraged by the examples of good works done by the great statesmen and extraordinary women of this country. The organizers with this event made an honest attempt to spread awareness against the menace of terrorism among the people mainly among the school children. It was an attempt to identify and honor the social animators, school teachers, doctors, socialites, ideal women achievers and likeminded people who have been playing the role of change agents in the society through their small but significant contributions. 

In a way, it was an attempt to spread the charm and the essential message of unity in diversity among the people of India. It was an extraordinary event to bring the spirit of nationalism, patriotism, cultural glory of India among the children. The honest approach of the organizers of the event was well received and reciprocated by the participants – the students, achievers, role models and mentors.

Shree Maninderjeet Singh Bitta, the chairman of the All-India Anti-Terrorist Front, and former chief of the Indian Youth Congress graced the occasion with his presence as the chief guest. Shri Deep Mathur, former Director, MCD exhibited his enthusiasm in his address as the Guest of Honor of the event. Other dignitaries include Smt. Kalpna Jha, creative writer and poetess; Dr. K. K. Aggarwal (Padma Shri & Dr. B. C. Roy National Awardee), President, Indian Medical Association (IMA), Dean, Board of Medical Education, Moolchand Medcity, New Delhi and President, Heart Care Foundation of India; Dr. Kailash Kumar Mishra, Chairman of Brainkothi and a well-known anthropologist and scholar of culture; Dr. A. K. Jhingan, chairman, DDRC); Shri Sangram Patnaik, Advocate, Supreme Court of India; Yogi Prem Bhatia, Founder of Vishwbharti Yoga Sanstha; Smit. & Shri Somen Kole, Secretary, TJAPS (Hugli, West Bengal); Shri Ashok Kumar Thakur, founder of Muni International School; Shri Himanshu Kalia, founder president of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Help & Care Society; Pandit Ashwini Bhardwaj, jyotishi; Smt. Neera Arora, representative from YWMCA, Najafgrah; and Dr. Shabnam Khanam, and Irfan Mohammad from All India Radio.

More than 150 students including boys and girls, and about 35 Muslim students came from the villages of Najafgarh area. These students exhibited their extraordinary enthusiasm and sang the songs of Nationalism including Bande Matram. The achievers and speakers shared their personal experiences with the students and participants.

Overjoyed with the positivity of the students and organizers Shree Maninderjeet Singh Bitta, the chief guest of the function said:

“I am overjoyed. I can see the future of great India in the eyes and inside the heart and mind of these young children, the future citizens of India. They are the most dynamic people of the world. I am habitual of delivering my speech in the gathering of thousands and lacks of people, this small gathering of 200 plus people, however, I find more powerful than the thousands and lacs of people because it has a solid goal, a well thought objective and a mission to protect India Today and tomorrow from the clutches of anti-national elements, terrorists, cheaters, enemies. For me every one of you equal to 125000 people. You are the true Indians. You are the leaders, change agents and makers of today’s and tomorrow’s India. You are matchless and brilliant people. Let the world learn the lessons of patriotism, honesty, and integrity from you and your action. Your right action and determination will define the future of India. I was challenged and attacked by the terrorists so many times but they did not change my determination. I am a committed Indian and I feel proud of myself, my country and countrymen. We must not forget the sacrifice of Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru, Khuddi Ram, Chandrashekhar Azad, Rani of Lakshmi Bai, Mangal Pandey, Subhash Chandra Bose and many leaders of India.  You start working with immediate effect.”

At the end of his speech Shree Maninderjeet Singh Bitta said, “I am always available for you people. Whenever you need my support, my doors are open for you. Come and discuss the issue. For us country, its integrity, its democracy and finally its boundaries are the most important issue. The organizers deserve congratulations for organizing such events with the students and people living in the remote and rural areas of Delhi.” He congratulated Shri Uday Kumar Manna, Advisor of Ram-Janki Sansthan for organizing this event and working with the people and different stake holders with relevant issues.

Speakers spoke on the role of the Constitution of India in safeguarding the rights of the people and integrity of the nation; respecting the elders, parents and physically challenged people of the society; keeping the house, and locality including public space neat and clean; maintaining the law and order; respecting the women and finally spreading the essential message and spirit of patriotism.

Members, friends and sympathizers of Ram-Janki Sansthan were awarded for their significant contributions in various fields by the chief guest of the event.

More than 1,35,000 readers surf his web portal and read the contents and articles everyday. The portal is now available in English, Urdu and French.  He has been inspiring me with his action, noble thoughts, radical approach, cultural practice and harmonious attitude. The New Age Islam Foundation has been organizing seminars, workshops etc. We organized one seminar on Sufisim at Jamia Millia Islamia University and very recently Bande Matram - an Awareness Program about the spirit of Unity and Patriotism among the school children in Delhi.
