The Workshop began with tributes to Bhagat Singh, Bhikaji Cama, Deen Dayal Upadhyayaya, Raja Ram Mohan Rai, Ram Dhari Singh Dinkar and James Augustus Hickey. 

New Delhi. Today's Weekly Positive Media Dialogue was organised under the steersmanship  of RJS PBH Founder, Uday Manna  and was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Prof. K.G. Suresh , Vice Chancellor, Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Bhopal, M.P. The Workshop began with tributes to Bhagat Singh, Bhikaji Cama, Deen Dayal Upadhyayaya, Raja Ram Mohan Rai, Ram Dhari Singh Dinkar and James Augustus Hickey. The Chief Guest spoke at length on various aspects concerning the imperative of  media literacy and media education not only for aspiring journalists, but the whole society in view of the information explosion and all sorts of distortions occurring in social media -distortions that cause a lot of harm to the people. Other respectable guests also spoke on these issues from their perspectives, which was followed by useful interactions with RJSians. Prof.K.G. Suresh Ji replied at length to the questions raised by Ashok Kumar Malik Ji, Poet and RJS PBH Spokesperson. 

  The participant, Rakhi Ji's question about the need to monitor the content of social media platforms was replied to Prof. Suresh Ji and also by Shri Malik Ji, RJS PBH Spokesperson. The discussions ranged over numerous points of concern, such as disinformation, fake news, biased narratives, how to verify false information on social media, distortion of context of events, how to conduct interviews of public figures, RTI Act, Copywrite Act, the double-edged technology, and how media literacy from school level onwards, in a graded way, can go a long way to address the vexed issues in question.

 The Chief Guest and others expressed their happiness at the positive direction of RJS PBH under the leadership of its founder, Uday Manna Ji. In turn, it was conveyed to the guests that RJS PBH aims to spread positive energy in our great Indian society.
